What is object detection?
- Object detection (ObjDet) adds equipment and object signals from the video stream.
- Default-off: the system stays disabled until explicitly enabled.
- Weak, medium, and strong presets change cadence and compute usage.
- Heavy providers such as YOLO and ONNX stay blocked by default for safety and cost control.
- If a GPU is detected, faster execution can be enabled later with the appropriate profile.
Tip: you do not need to enable detection to inspect status and preflight readiness on this page.
